Last summer, Felicia Konrad invited me to take a walk with her by the sea. Felicia is a voice artist, performer and healer, and she introduced me to a practice she calls Precious Balance Walk, where she balances a glass of water on her head. This led us to a precious conversation about our connection to the big waters, bodies and breathing, and my futile longing to become with the waters surface.
As a response to her generosity I proposed a simple performance centering the waters surface. This August me and five other performers have gathered in Malmö to be part of Konrads’ film project Precious Balance Walk. Thank you to the whole crew for some beautiful days by the sea!
Now the material goes to the cutting board and post production. Hope to see the film in 2020!
